Abstract

Introduction: Staphylococcus aureus skin infections are the most common bacterial infections in humans. The clinical range of severity includes the patients with the virus of human inmunodeficiency, the diabetics and patients that take inmunosuppresor treatment like those of more risk of complications. The factors that determine the development and repetition are not completely explaining.

The immune response against to Staphylococcus aureus is inadequate, since a primary infection does not protect the individual against the reinfections that constitutes a problem of health in all the latitudes and age groups. The identification of genetic conditions that predispose to the infections reveals new personal affairs of the immune response.

Objective: To describe the elements that determine the individual susceptibility to the infections for Staphylococcus aureus.

Methods: We were carried out a bibliographical revision of the available literature, through the search automated in the databases: SciELO, Pubmed, Scopus, Google Scholar, Hinari and Elsevier. It was made an analysis and summary of the revised information.

Conclusions: The roads of the immunity and the mechanisms through which the immune response happens are very well established, the knowledge of genetic and environmental risk factors that allow reaching a better individual and family characterization of the individuals in risk takes place can be an important contribution to the scientific investigation with foregone practical contributions.
