Important research from the Institute of Hematology and Immunology was published in the Cuban Journal of Hematology, Immunology, and Hemotherapy between 2018 and 2025
Abstract
Introduction: Since its founding, the Institute of Hematology and Immunology has played a key role in scientific and technological innovation in hematology and immunology, establishing itself as a leading center in these specialties. In previous anniversaries, special issues and articles have been published in the Revista Cubana de Hematología, Inmunología y Hemoterapia, highlighting the institution's work.
Objective: To review the main scientific results and achievements of recent years published in this scientific journal.
Method: A literature review was conducted, encompassing articles reporting research results published between 2018 and 2025, with the first author a researcher from the institution. These were compared with the scientific and technical achievements and results reported in the annual reports for the same period.
Conclusions: The institution's high scientific potential and commitment to its mission as a science and technological innovation unit are evident, immersed in the development of specialties, projecting itself towards personalized medicine as a strategy for the prevention and effective management of hematological and immunological diseases
